Most surf/street companies would call up an agency and throw a large amount of cash at a handful of models to help advertise new product but when you’re got the cast of Clerks huddled around a light table in the studio, upstairs you’d be mad not to use that money to fill up the bar fridge. These are the people who design the Mambo clothes you wear. And this is how they get to work … when they get to work.
Inspired by the iconic 70’s Dragster style ‘pusher’, these brand spanking new Mambo 20″ RETRO CLASSIC bikes are serious fun. Designed by Mambo, they’ve been tested by bike couriers around the Sydney CBD and the only thing that ever comes back busted are the couriers. We’ve also gotten rid of the stand and the plastic streamers (on the handlebars) so they can be priced to compete with on-line imports: $168 (riders not included). You tear open the embossed envelope from Vogue and there’s an invitation requesting the pleasure of your company aboard a luxury pontoon in the middle of Sydney Harbour, surrounded by models and scarfing lobster canapés and alcohol you can only normally afford after an insurance payout. What can you say? “Sorry, can’t make it. We’re having the cat de-sexed on Thursday”. Bugger the cat (not literally)!

Anyone can up-end half a flagon of Asti Spumante, whip off their tracksuit and run naked around the salad bar at their local leagues club bistro but the real challenge is to have fun while you’re still wearing a pair of pants, at least.
And that’s the challenge we set ourselves when we ran a hose into the boardroom, moved the bar fridge and pointed our camera at a sample of this summer’s Men’s range. Go ahead … try this at home.
