MAMBO’S BIG NIGHT OUT

Friday night, downed tools, called in take-away, a couple of ales, head under the tap, a gargle, a splash, pulled on a clean sample, set the traps, slammed the door, backed the Kombi out of the Mambo carpark, punched gearbox into first and headed to SUBLIME for the launch of Mambo’s sponsorship deal with the house DJs. Half an hour later, pulled up out front, past the herd lined up at the door, tossed the keys to the doorman and walked into the club. Not like the old days. No sponsorship, passed out waiting in line, sun coming up, seagulls picking bits of wet pizza off the front of my t-shirt, someone stolen my thongs.
