In front of a large crowd at Manly Beach in pristine one-metre conditions, the Mambo Pro Junior presented by Dakine saw Wright taking down the hottest junior surfers in the country.

“I’m so stoked,” Wright said after defeating wonder-kid Tamaroa McComb (Tahiti/Gold Coast, QLD) in one of the highest scoring and electrifying finals of the year.
